I have a new short story in the August 2015 publication Scheherezade’s Bequest: Something Rich and Strange. This is a beautiful collection of magical realism and fairy tales – both new and retold – inspired by the ever-beguiling sea.
I’m also currently engaged in several new projects – not only my seemingly endless quest to write a novel, but also more short stories and a new feature-length script. Updates will trickle in as these projects find their creative homes.
Having enjoyed its festival run, “He Took His Skin Off For Me” premieres online today at Short of the Week.
“If Hollywood and the talent scouts of the feature film industry really do have an eye on the short film world, then someone needs to get Aston and Hummer on the phone ASAP – as this is storytelling of the highest degree.” -Rob Munday, editor at Short of the Week
If you still have a hankering to see “Skin” on the big screen, though, it’s playing this Saturday at the London Short Film Festival as part of the intriguingly-titled program F*cked up Love: Gentle Disasters. Ben and I will both be in attendance.
